Upperstate
My production company, and the home of my films, commercials and music videos, including the feature Baby Love.
01 · Founder
I started Upperstate to make my own films and direct for brands under one roof. It produced Baby Love, the feature I wrote and directed in Montana, which won Best Picture and Best Actress at the Santa Monica Film Festival. It is also the parent company of Treats and Pitchflow.
02 · Branding & Design
The heavy lowercase wordmark, the type system (Archivo, Archivo Black and JetBrains Mono), and a day and night palette that follows each visitor's own setting. Designed in Figma.
03 · Site Design & Development
Designed in Figma and built from scratch to show films the way they were made, at full quality and full screen, with a private screening room for festivals, buyers and press.
